Delaware's Biomedical Research Catalyst
Core Centers & Resources

A variety of resources, including core facilities and shared research resources are available to biomedical researchers in Delaware, many which have been supported by Delaware INBRE.
Centralized Research Instrumentation Core
Dr. Greg Miller, University of Delaware – Chair
Brewster Kingham, University of Delaware – Co-Chair
The Delaware INBRE Centralized Research Instrumentation Core plays a leadership role in disseminating information about research resources, and in developing a community of core facility users. Core directors meet regularly, and the Core provides technical training and information sessions, including periodic “Open House” events to acquaint users with available instruments and services.

Core Center Access Awards
Faculty with active INBRE pilot grants are eligible to receive access to research instrumentation for free or at significantly reduced rates at many of the core instrumentation centers. Please contact the individual core instrumentation center directors about details.
In addition, INBRE provides Core Center Access Awards to faculty at the partner institutions without active INBRE pilot grants. Please complete a Core Center Access Award form and submit your request to Maryanne Brown-Mackay (302-831-4549).
Core Center Access Award proposals will be selected by the INBRE Research Committee on a monthly basis. Applications for each new round of awards are due by the 15th of each month.
